Winter youth retreat

The winter youth retreat is tentatively planned for Thursday December 29th through Sunday January 1st.  Arrive Thursday (meeting at night), all day Friday and Saturday, then leave after Church on Sunday.

We would love to hear what is on your heart for this time, any topics that you feel would be good to cover, things that you think worked well last retreat, what could be improved for this retreat, and anything else you would like to share.  All ideas are welcome - please leave a comment below.

EXCELent looking site...

Wow ev, this looks really good.  I especially like the header (is that what you call it?) with the panorama pic.  And enabling comments is good.  Can we also comment to meeting wrap-ups?  So let's keep promoting this so people start using it.

A Suggestion..

Hey Evan..

Some of the youth here in MD have shown an interest in coming to the Winter Retreat in NY but it conflicts with the watchnight service and the children's new years program we have here on the evening of December 31st..so a suggestion could be that the dates for the retreat be before or after new years...I think a few of us want to come but will probably have to leave on Saturday either morning or early afternoon..

Watchnight..

Hey...going into the new year is basically where people got the term "Watchnight" Service from...we usually have our youth program and service around 10 pm on new years eve and it goes until about 12:45 with fellowship at the end...
